Welcome to Breeze Hill Online. We settled in Canada in 1832 at our present location in Winchester, On. We are the sixth generation of McDonald's to farm this land with the seventh generation actively assisting with day to day operations. The first registered Holstein was purchased by our farm in 1898, but little emphasis was placed upon high type until 1979. In 1979, a partnership was formed between two brothers Glenn and Larry through the purchase of the farm from their father, Thomas. There are now two families running the farm: Glenn and Brenda with their two children Jason and Julianne, and Larry and Nancy with their children Shawn and Kyler.

Shortly after the partnership was formed, regular classification and milk testing began and thereafter additional animals were purchased to begin our foundation bloodlines. At present, we are milking 70 cows and have approximately 150 head of cattle total. We currently own 450 acres and rent additional acreage for hay when needed. Our current classification is 37 excellent, 35 very good, and 6 good plus, with none scored lower. Our breeding philosophy has always been to breed for exceptional type and manage for milk. We always breed our cows to the best available sires, regardless of the sires index. There are cattle for sale at all times and embryo inquiries are welcomed.
